Get back in touch...

I have just been introduced to Facebook, and well even though there is alot about blogging that I love that you can't do on Facebook. I have loved being able to be in touch with so many people at once, and finding people from back in the day. I have been able to talk and catch up with people I have not seen for 20yrs, due to moving or graduating and losing track of one another, some surprises and some disappointments. If you have not experienced this website, and have a desire to find out what happened to all those friends you graduated with or friends that through moving and such you lost track of one another. what a great way and very easy way to find and get in touch again...

Who Knew...

I had no idea when I first set sights on this bright little angel, that she would fill my heart with more love then I ever thought possible. It is amazing to me how fast they change and grow. Kenzie is approaching her 2yr birthday this April, and I can't believe that this little person, who only drank milk for months, now can tell me what she wants to eat. A person that I use to hold so close and carry around in a little bundle, now runs everywhere and crawls, jumps and climbs on everything in sight(well almost).

She is so fun to watch, and see how she is learning things almost overnight. When ever we see or hear a plane, she will point to the sky and say tane (that is her word for Plane),and then wave bye-bye to them- even though I'm sure they can't see us. We have started to say her prayers at bedtime- which is really me saying them and her listening, so we practice folding our arms, and closing our eyes, bow are heads etc. She is so cute with this, as now she will, through out the day sit down and fold her arms, and look at me and smile, like I'm doing it mom. It melts my heart...

I still get amazed at the traits she gets from both of us, she is stubborn and independent like her mom, and she has a tender heart and is a big tease like her dad... I hope I'm able to continue to enjoy each moment. It is so great to watch them form there own personalities and character, and realize what a Amazing person they are becoming.

Still with all that, I can't believe that she can already make a pretty good elk call, which it would be great if Scott didn't always practice with her... and she loves Cabela's magazine... I guess I'll be grateful she enjoys getting her hair curled and dancing... That gives me some hope, that she's not going to be a complete Tomboy, although she is going to enjoy the outdoors more then her mom, and Oh do I dare say it... Yes she may even like to hunt with her dad... Well maybe at least I can get her to be a BYU fan instead of a UTE...

Young Barry Manilow

This was so funny... I saw this on my cousins facebook page, and Oh I just couldn't resist... He is the cutest boy, who apparently loves Barry Manilow songs, and you gotta love his sister in the back ground...

Who asked for Snow...

Kenzie loved the Snow... We could not keep her inside for anything, the moment she woke up, she wanted to be outside, Oh my, I guess it's a good thing we are moving to a place that gets plenty of Snow...

Kenzie didn't seem to care if it was snowing or if it was windy, She would stay out for a hour at a time, as that is all her parents could take...she cried everytime we brought he inside.... Crazy kid!

This was her first time playing in Snow, so I thought I would share some of the pictures. I think we better get some warmer clothes because it looks like we'll be outside alot this Winter...

We had a great Christmas with Scott's family in Salt Lake City. Even with the 2 feet of Snow... We are looking foward to 2009 and hope it turns out to be a great year ... Happy New Year!!!

Another shot at Christmas pictures

So I really wanted a Santa picture this year to send out, but she cried the whole time, I did get a picture for keepsake, but it was not one I wanted to send out... So I took her to the Opera House here in St. George to do some snap shots. She is such a turkey sometimes, she was not going to look at the camera no matter what, and when she did, well I couldn't get her to smile. I'm sure being that it was 50 degree's didn't have anything to do with it, I normally have her all bundled up, but that just wasn't going to look good in the picture...

Mom's and what they do for pictures... I did end up with some cute one's but I'm not posting those as they are going to be sent out for Christmas... This picture on the bridge, poor thing, I'm taking the photo's and she just starts to shiver, I think that was my que, we were both really cold by then, so I hurried to the car and got her bundled up... Hopefully next year will go better...

Can we say Chocolate...

Well I went to the mall for her to sit on Santa's lap, and this year of course she did not like it one bit, cried the whole time... Well after all that, they gave us this free sucker from See's Candies. I had no idea it was going to be this messy, and I forgot a bib, and she was not about to let me take it away so what do you do... Oh the lessons we learn as we go, luckily it all came out in the wash...

Change is good Right...

Scott and I are off to a new adventure in our Marriage, we are moving to Orem Utah in February... He has a new job with Eskco Windows http://www.eskco.net/ and they are going to be opening a show room in Park City, Scott will be the Only Salesman for the Northern part of the state and he will focus on Park City and the surrounding areas...We feel very fortunate to have this opportunity for our family during these ecomonic times. We hope that this will be the last move for our family and we can make Orem our home... It is bitter sweet as we have loved living in St George, and we know so many people, and have so many friends, and I will miss my family dearly. We have lived here for over 15 years and feel like we are a real part of the community, and lets not forget the Weather... Oh how I'll miss that. They say change is good and it will be good to be close to Scott's family and our other relatives near by. It will be fun to get back into Skiing and I can't wait for Kenzie to learn, it will also be nice to go to the Zoo or Jazz game and not have to make it a weekend trip. We hope that any of you who are passing by on your way to Salt Lake will feel free to call us and stop in, we would love to visit... We will miss all of you, and when we come down to visit My family, we will make sure to stop in and say hello...
