Lunch with Kate

This is one of her favorite cousin's "Kate" and we went to lunch and boy did they have fun, Kenzie wanted to share chairs and wanted to make sure they ate right next to each other.

Kenzie is really becoming social and loving playing with other kids, she also likes to make sure, she is not left out of anything... and finally she is saying "cheese" everytime we take pictures and is enjoying posing and smiling for the camera... I thought that day would never come.

Breakfast with Santa...

This was a fun morning, with her Grandma Belnap's primary they had Breakfast with Santa. She was having a good time with her cousins and when the big man came... She wasn't for sure if she wanted to sit on his lap or not?

But then she saw he was giving out candy canes, and well that is all it took... She then sat on his lap and was trying to figure out how to get the candy cane's from his bag... so cute...
We hope you all had a Merry Christmas...

I love the season

I love this time of year, maybe because everyone reflects on what they have and how grateful they are for that, and what they can give to others; or maybe it is the feeling of the spirit in our hearts that reaches out to others and helps them to open there heart...But I feel it is because Christmas is to remember Christ our Savior's birth, that his love and example and sacrafice he made for all or us, really lives on in each of us... I'm so grateful for so many things and not only do I love Christmas music, Hot chocolate, a good snowball fight... But I love giving to others, and enjoy all the stories of those that give and make this world a little brighter, a little more bearable and alot more full of love, which reflects so much of our saviors life, he was the ultimate example in teaching us to, Love one Another. I hope you all have a Merry Christmas.

Kenzie and Halloween...

This is Kenzie right before we left for Trunk Or Treat... She has loved this eye patch for over two months, but of course on this day when it becomes part of her costume, well forget it. So this is the only picture I got with it on...

She is having so much fun - her cousin is in the back ground, she truly loved this event, once she figured out that every car she went to she got candy, you could hardly keep up with her as she was going as fast as she could to get to the next car... It was a great night. We all have a lot of fun!

I think her smile says it all. Can't wait for next year!

I will forever love the 80's and when it's Halloween you gotta have Thriller!!! (before playing go to the bottom of this page and turn off my music). Enjoy...

Odds and Ends

Here are some pictures of Kenzie over the last few months.

She is getting ready for the 24th, Days of 47' parade in SLC, this was a great parade and I think it's a new tradition with Grandma Belnap...

This is classic Kenzie, her security Bunny that she is almost never without, and of course her favorite Thumb sucking... So I think we will be paying for braces for sure, just hoping she quites before School...

This was a fun day, she loves to put this in her hair, by her self (Very Independent)... and she loves to play with my gloves, shoes etc, but I thought this was a cute picture... Oh we love her...

Kenzie funnies...

Well it has been awhile...
So I don't have any new pictures as I keep forgeting to drop them off at walmart to get developed...
So here are some funnies that I wanted to remember of Kenzie over the last little while.

She was sitting on the couch one day eating some snacks and a fly kept buzzing by, soon she was holding out her hand with a snack to try and feed it. Oh I'm saying Kenzie we don't feed flies... So funny but not.

In the morning Scott always pretends he is sleeping so Kenzie will come wake him up, he pretends and snores really lound, lately when ever we are busy doing something and Kenzie is bored she will lay down by you and start pretending to snore, it is so dang funny, I so need a video camera for that one.

And we feel bad lately she has become constipated and was having a hard time one day, she finally, after some tears, was able to pass her bowel movement, and she started saying- It's out, It's out... She was so happy, not fun for us but so glad she was able to take care of it and well, looks like some diet adjustments need to be made.

She is truly the light of our lives and everyday we are so grateful to have her, I truly love everyday I get to be with her and I'm so glad I get to stay home to watch her grow and learn and hopefully have some good influence on her as the years go by.

I will post pictures soon as we are getting into the holidays and I can't wait, we love this time of year!

July 3rd and 4th

I just wanted to say first, that I love America and the freedoms we have, I'm so grateful everyday for the men and women who serve in our Armed Forces to protect and preserve those freedoms. God Bless America...

This was on 4th of July ,we took the cousins to Provo for some of the festivities... Kenzie loved this obstacle course from Jump'n Jacks... although there were lots of big kids, so she almost got trampled a couple of times.

This was on the 3rd of July, we left our house at 605am to go to this Ballon Festival that Provo has every year. You get to be right on the field while 25 hot air ballons take off, you can go right up to them, talk with the pilots if you want or just watch. We loved this, and it was well worth getting up early, we kept Kenzie in her Pj's and she was just in awe at it all. great memories, and it's Free...

More summer fun at the GBR...

On the GBR we decided to take a field trip with the kids and go to the Hill Airforce Base museum and the Dinosaur park in Ogden. Kenzie loved these little planes, she didn't really want to get in them as much as she loved pushing them around.

This is Shalya her cousin, looks like she is ready to fly. This is a fun museum and was amazing to see all the aircraft used in the wars along the years, that is protecting our Freedoms, it was a great day!

Kenzie was more interested in playing with the rocks then the airplanes, go figure? She just made us laugh, as she normally loves airplanes but of course not on this day, it was all about the rocks...

This was at the Dinosaur park and Kenzie loved this bear.

Kenzie and Dad having fun...

Kenzie wondering were on earth she was- it was fun because all through the park you got to here dinosaur sounds and the kids were all just wondering which dinosaur was saying it...

Kenzie and her Dad...

The GBR...

This year the Gene Belnap reunion was in Brigham City Koa,(I don't recommend this camp to anyone)...Kenzie on the other hand, had a blast just being outside which of course was everyday, all day long. We all had a really good time together just hanging out and visiting, and the cousins loved playing with each other.

This was so sad... Her poor knee, I was leading her trike with a rope and pulling her around the campground while she got use to using her pedals... (I think I sucked at this) as I tipped her over 6 times, so needless to say she no longer wanted me near her trick...

They were hoping so bad to be able to climb this tree, how would it be to be young again...Oh don't answer that just yet...

Cute and Funnies of Kenzie...

I posted these pictures backwords, but Kenzie loves for Scott and I to get out the blocks and make corals for her horses, or garages for her tractors, then the minute we are done, she loves to come and break it up... so I finally got a picture of it. What a funny girl...

I love this picture so I had to share, This is my winter coat I wore when I was Kenzie's age- she found it when we were unpacking and she wanted to put it on, so I grabbed the camera, and I'm so glad I did...

Visiting

We had my dad come up for a few days and Kenzie just loved having him here. They got to play and just spend time together. This is a older picture of the two of them, but I think it is a sweet picture. We are so glad he was able to come and visit We Love you.

We also had some Young Men who are soon to be serving LDS missions in Canada, Scott served in Young Mens in our ward in St. George and they wanted to come and spend some time with him before they left. They were able to go to the Salt Lake and Draper Temple and do some temple work. We so enjoyed having them visit and it was fun for Scott as a friend and Leader to watch all these boys go from getting there Eagle Scout to graduating from High School and now serving a LDS mission.

It will also be Scott's Birthday tomorrow, so I hope he knows how much I love him and I'm so grateful that I get to be with him for all Eternity... Babe you are the best, and such a good daddy to Kenzie, it is so fun to watch you play with her and be her dad, she is the luckiest girl in the world...

It's also my mom's birthday and I hope she has a have a wonderful day and can feel my love from far away... She helped make me who I am today and I'm so grateful, thank you for all you have taught me and for always being there for me. HAPPY BIRTHDAY...

The Latest...

Well I have not been a good blogger lately, and I have been even worse at taking pictures... but I so wanted to share what has been going on with us and Kenzie...

So we went to the Hoogle Zoo and she loved it, especially the Elephants, she was amazed at there size and that they were real.

She had fun watching the Monkeys, she would giggle when they would make noises and swing around.

When we got to big Cats she was just in Awe at them, I think they made her a bit nervous, but everytime we saw a new Cat she would just stare right at them, and didn't turn away until we were out of there sight.

This was a fun experience for us as parents to watch Kenzie see new things and get excited about them and just be in awe of nature. It was fun for Kenzie too, she went with some cousins and had a blast... Thanks Aunt Marci...

Easy as drinking Water...

I'm finding out that losing weight is as easy as drinking water, this is Awesome. If you want more information on this, please e-mail me. I love this and can't believe its as easy as drinking water literally... my e-mail is stbelnap@gmail.com

I can't believe she is 2 years old already!

We had a lot of family over and that was so fun, it's alway nice to celebrate with family.

She was wondering if this was really for her and didn't know what to think about the candles that wouldn't blow out.

This was my "E" for effort cake, it was my first one and well the picture tells the rest, she is such a John Deere fan right now and loves Tractors, so of course we had to have them on the cake.

She had so many cousins who wanted to make sure she opened every gift, and then they had to make sure everything was alright with them. It was so fun to have them there, she just loves her cousins.

These two are peas in a pod, Katelyn is 10days younger and was just making sure that Kenzie was able to get around on her trike, so cute. What would a John Deere cake be without a John Deere trike, she loved this gift. It was so fun to see her face and watch her ride around on it.

This was her on a real tractor for her two year pictures, which we will be mailing soon, they turned out so cute, I wanted to capture this time in her life and what she loved at this moment. Tractors it is... So grateful she is in our life and we get the honor of raising her. It is the most fun and worthwhile, happy time of our lives... Thanks Kenzie for your laughter, kisses and new words, you are my sunshine!!!
