Off to the Zoo...

So last October I think, we went to the Zoo lights and Kenzie and her cousins had so much fun. All bundled up and then we got Hot chocolate after. nummy...This was really a fun time to go all the animals were so active it was great to see that.

So this is the new baby elephant and Kenzie just loves the Elephants, so this is normally our first stop everytime we go... Luckly we have a Zoo pass this year so we should have a fun summer...

And of course the Girraffs, Kenzie loves them also, they have been so active lately when we have visited. So fun.

Kenzie's Birthday!

We can't believe Kenzie is already 3yrs old... She is just growing up so fast. So this year I thought I was going to do a Princess theme for her Birthday but of course 2 weeks before her party she only wanted Thomas the Train, so I guess the good new is we went from Tractors to Trains, Maybe next year?

So this is just before our party began.

With Daddy's help she had so much fun. We loved the Easter Dress from Grandma B.

Lots of clothes and some toys, and lots of help from her cousins.

And hey I thought the cake would turn out better but when I started to get it ready to frost the decorating tips that I had bought didn't match the frosting bags, so this was what I got... Next year I hope we get it right. It was so fun and great to have so much family there.

On the road again.

Just a quick note, so Scott is working in Moab and will be there until October, we are grateful he has a job and I am able to stay home with Kenzie, we miss him so much and try to see each other as much as possible.
So since he will be gone for so long we decided it would be best for me to move closer to his folks and family, so last month we moved to Salt Lake City- in Murray- we are just off Vanwinkle Parkway if you are fimilar with the area. I am so loving the area and Kenzie is having a blast being near her cousins and all the fun things we do. We hope by this time next year we are in our own home and are not longer moving, as I am so sick of packing and unpacking.

What's New

So it has been forever it seems since I last posted. Life has been busy, and I still need to get my pictures uploaded so that will be coming, but I wanted to give some updates on Kenzie.
She is just changing so much and so much fun we just love her.
She knows her colors now and can count to 7.
She has started saying her ABC's
She is a riot, she loves the wizard of OZ and many disney classic's and everyone that is mean is a witch.
well while watching the Wizard of OZ she gets out my kitchen broom and tries to fly, and everytime that it doesn't she turns to me and says " It not work"
so funny. I try to tell her that you need a magic broom for that and mommy doesn't have one. she gets very frustrated over it as she wants to fly on the broom.
She gets her baby doll and dances while the princess in the disney films dance with there prince, this is so cute. she tries to make sure to hold there had just so and twirl the baby around, it is really so sweet.
She is trying to go on the toliet now but still wants to wear diapers, she will sit on the toliet but doesn't want to pee in it, she waits until she is off the toilet and a diaper is back on to do that, then she says " Ot Oh" I peed, really, so funny. Hoping by the end of summer she is potted trained.
I will be posting pictures soon of her Birthday we can't believe she is already 3 time has just gone by so fast. We are loving every minute of it.

Lunch with Kate

This is one of her favorite cousin's "Kate" and we went to lunch and boy did they have fun, Kenzie wanted to share chairs and wanted to make sure they ate right next to each other.

Kenzie is really becoming social and loving playing with other kids, she also likes to make sure, she is not left out of anything... and finally she is saying "cheese" everytime we take pictures and is enjoying posing and smiling for the camera... I thought that day would never come.

Breakfast with Santa...

This was a fun morning, with her Grandma Belnap's primary they had Breakfast with Santa. She was having a good time with her cousins and when the big man came... She wasn't for sure if she wanted to sit on his lap or not?

But then she saw he was giving out candy canes, and well that is all it took... She then sat on his lap and was trying to figure out how to get the candy cane's from his bag... so cute...
We hope you all had a Merry Christmas...

I love the season

I love this time of year, maybe because everyone reflects on what they have and how grateful they are for that, and what they can give to others; or maybe it is the feeling of the spirit in our hearts that reaches out to others and helps them to open there heart...But I feel it is because Christmas is to remember Christ our Savior's birth, that his love and example and sacrafice he made for all or us, really lives on in each of us... I'm so grateful for so many things and not only do I love Christmas music, Hot chocolate, a good snowball fight... But I love giving to others, and enjoy all the stories of those that give and make this world a little brighter, a little more bearable and alot more full of love, which reflects so much of our saviors life, he was the ultimate example in teaching us to, Love one Another. I hope you all have a Merry Christmas.
