We may not have it all together, but together we have it all...

Something to remember...

I thought this was such a cute idea, you can send in your favorite picture of your little one, select the colors, materials etc, then you can preview your design and they send it to you in 10 days. I can't wait to send in Kenzie's and post it, go to http://www.allpopart.com/ what a fun photo to have on her wall and have as a keepsake...

Fun ways to help keep your little one busy...

I Was reading the March issue of Parenting mag. and they had some great ideas to keep your little on busy while on the go, so I thougth I'd share some.
While driving get a cookie sheet and some fun magnets and let them create what they want, right now Kenzie loves her LeapFrog magnets with the alphebet so I'm excited to try this.

While in the mall or Store, have them see how many people they see that are wearing purple shirts, or how many people are wearing flip flops etc. Give them a paper and crayon to keep track of. Kenzie is not old enough for this one, but I think when she is, she will love this, as she is very observant and analysis alot.

Kenzie's favorite things right now...

This is our favorite and I have no idea how come she is this way... But ever since she could shut doors, she loves to go in a closet, any closet and shut the door, she just giggles and thinks it's so funny... I don't know any kid that is like this, well but ours of course, so I finally took some pictures of her doing this... Go figure!

She is such a funny kid, you would think she would be scared of the dark...

To bad I can't record her laughter once the door shuts...

She loves to sit in this bottom oven drawer and look at herself in the reflection, we do this about 3 times a day... I don't know what she has more fun doing, pulling all the pans out onto our kitchen floor, or making faces in the reflection, but either way, I love it...

This is famous Bunny! I got this at a baby shower, and so wish I knew where they got it, she has had this with her since she was about 4months old, it has been sewn up twice and I hope with all my heart it makes it until she is done with it...

She loves mom to do her hair, get her dressed and bathed, feed all the have to do things... She loves to go to the park and walk and read stories and just play...

She loves her dad, to get horse rides, give her big hugs and rub his wiskers on her checks, she just giggles, she loves to look at cablea's with him and learn to do all sorts of animal calls, like Elk, Coyote etc... Oh what do you do but give in...

Get back in touch...

I have just been introduced to Facebook, and well even though there is alot about blogging that I love that you can't do on Facebook. I have loved being able to be in touch with so many people at once, and finding people from back in the day. I have been able to talk and catch up with people I have not seen for 20yrs, due to moving or graduating and losing track of one another, some surprises and some disappointments. If you have not experienced this website, and have a desire to find out what happened to all those friends you graduated with or friends that through moving and such you lost track of one another. what a great way and very easy way to find and get in touch again...

Who Knew...

I had no idea when I first set sights on this bright little angel, that she would fill my heart with more love then I ever thought possible. It is amazing to me how fast they change and grow. Kenzie is approaching her 2yr birthday this April, and I can't believe that this little person, who only drank milk for months, now can tell me what she wants to eat. A person that I use to hold so close and carry around in a little bundle, now runs everywhere and crawls, jumps and climbs on everything in sight(well almost).

She is so fun to watch, and see how she is learning things almost overnight. When ever we see or hear a plane, she will point to the sky and say tane (that is her word for Plane),and then wave bye-bye to them- even though I'm sure they can't see us. We have started to say her prayers at bedtime- which is really me saying them and her listening, so we practice folding our arms, and closing our eyes, bow are heads etc. She is so cute with this, as now she will, through out the day sit down and fold her arms, and look at me and smile, like I'm doing it mom. It melts my heart...

I still get amazed at the traits she gets from both of us, she is stubborn and independent like her mom, and she has a tender heart and is a big tease like her dad... I hope I'm able to continue to enjoy each moment. It is so great to watch them form there own personalities and character, and realize what a Amazing person they are becoming.

Still with all that, I can't believe that she can already make a pretty good elk call, which it would be great if Scott didn't always practice with her... and she loves Cabela's magazine... I guess I'll be grateful she enjoys getting her hair curled and dancing... That gives me some hope, that she's not going to be a complete Tomboy, although she is going to enjoy the outdoors more then her mom, and Oh do I dare say it... Yes she may even like to hunt with her dad... Well maybe at least I can get her to be a BYU fan instead of a UTE...

Young Barry Manilow

This was so funny... I saw this on my cousins facebook page, and Oh I just couldn't resist... He is the cutest boy, who apparently loves Barry Manilow songs, and you gotta love his sister in the back ground...

Who asked for Snow...

Kenzie loved the Snow... We could not keep her inside for anything, the moment she woke up, she wanted to be outside, Oh my, I guess it's a good thing we are moving to a place that gets plenty of Snow...

Kenzie didn't seem to care if it was snowing or if it was windy, She would stay out for a hour at a time, as that is all her parents could take...she cried everytime we brought he inside.... Crazy kid!

This was her first time playing in Snow, so I thought I would share some of the pictures. I think we better get some warmer clothes because it looks like we'll be outside alot this Winter...

We had a great Christmas with Scott's family in Salt Lake City. Even with the 2 feet of Snow... We are looking foward to 2009 and hope it turns out to be a great year ... Happy New Year!!!
